CIVICS DAY CAMP  is a unique and innovative approach to teaching civics and community economics.  It is a grass-roots, bottom-up approach to building and rebuilding economies from the ground … UP!   Most Americans have their economic livelihood and future prosperity tied to their communities.  Whether they are individuals, employees, business owners, investors, retired, or even children, community economic health is vital.

CIVICS DAY CAMP uses peoples’ every day knowledge and experience, like their jobs, local news,  and shopping habits,  to teach the principles of local economic development.

An economically viable community:

  • Attracts and retains investment and talent

  • Provides better educational resources

  • Spawns a better workforce

  • Offers a higher and better quality of life

  • Helps keep families together

  • Makes more opportunity available for all

CIVICS DAY CAMP is for FAMILIES, business people, students, elected and appointed officials, service club members, teachers, clergy, non-profit executives and managers, parents, political aspirants, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and virtually any citizens actively interested in their communities and wanting to get a clearer perspective on their community and the money that makes it "tick".
